The Joy Church Family
The Joy Church movement was birthed in 1983 when Pastors Steve & Kim Schmelzer responded to the call of God on their lives and planted Joy Christian Fellowship in Medford, Oregon. With deep roots in MFI they served their community faithfully for decades. Resulting in a beautiful legacy including many sons and daughters in the faith rising up to pursue the call of God on their own lives to plant churches. Launching the thriving movement we know across the world as the Joy Church family. An apostolic family of autonomous churches in covenant with each other and overseen by the founders.
