The West Family

Thomas & Melissa West grew up in Medford Oregon, where they both received Jesus and met each other at Joy Church Medford. They fell in love while attending Siskiyou Bible college and got married in 2011 after both graduating with their Bachelor’s of Ministry. They served together as volunteer young adult pastors for 5 years before moving to Eugene in the summer of 2018. They served as volunteer small groups pastors at Joy Church Eugene for a year before moving to Newberg to work on staff as youth and young adult pastors at RockPoint Church in the fall of 2019 until early summer 2023. Together they have a combined 20 years of ministry experience in various capacities.

They have three children, Hannah, Adaline and Owen. They are passionate about their family, the local church and pursuing the call of God on their lives to reach people for Jesus while empowering others to do the same.

They first felt the call to plant a church in 2016 when it was prophetically called out by their apostolic leadership. Since then, that call has been continually immersed in prayer and confirmed by counsel. They’ve spent their last season in intentional preparation and are excited to see all that God is going to do in the days to come right here in Salem, Oregon!
